i'm back to being a dA lurker

  • Mood: Tired
I hardly ever update, I know.

I did however just get my hands on Photoshop again after I lost it due to a computer meltdown. Perhaps some more art is in order...?

In the meanwhile, I've come to realize I like messing around with words a lot better.

Hope your muses are treating you well!

Hey, thanks for the comment and the :+fav: :thanks:

You know, your Last.fm station reads just like the XFM play list (but without Richard Bacon talking crap in between :D )

Is that a good thing? :P

I do listen to XFM quite a lot.... but I'm always open to new music if you're up to suggesting any!

Well, in the office I work in XFM is on all day. I do like a lot of the tracks, although they seem to have the playlist on loop. I used to hate Richard Bacon, but now I have to confess he can be quite funny (if still somewhat annoying).

At ease!

PS- You can listen to the music I make instead (although it's trance so you may not like it). I made a song called Deliverance over the weekend, you can find it at the top here.

I think all radio djs have to be mildly annoying, otherwise people wouldn't listen to them.

You make music? Do you use a garage band-like program, or some more high tech method?

It's a sweet tune, but more the kind of thing I'd dance to, not listen to (which is probably why my lastfm is geared mostly towards indie/rock). I had a listen to a couple other songs as well--I quite like Creamed!

I wish I had some sort of musical ability. I guess you can't have it all, eh? :P

I do make music, at least that's what I like to call it ;p I use Cubase and a load of soft-synths, along with an outboard synth, tone module, compressor and desk. It's all very geeky 8-) It just takes a bit of time and practice, I don't think I have the patience at the moment to learn how to play properly though :raincloud:

Hey, I tell you who is a good DJ, and that's Paul Tonkinson who does the X List at 1-4pm on XFM. He makes me laugh when he goes into one of his rants :D
